Premium Bakery, one of the leading companies in the dough and bakery products industry in Kosovo, began expanding its operations into the North Macedonian market during 2025. This process started with detailed market research, consumer needs analysis, and the identification of strategic partners for distribution and long-term development.

With more than 25 years of industry experience, Premium Bakery has been operating since 2000 and is recognized for its high-quality standards, modern production technology, and extensive portfolio of dough and bakery products.

The official entry into the North Macedonian market took place on September 15, 2025, through a partnership with the Kipper supermarket chain. This collaboration marked the beginning of Premium Bakery’s presence in the Macedonian market and laid the foundation for further expansion.

Following positive results and strong consumer acceptance, the company expanded its cooperation to include the Kit-Go and Viva Fresh Store retail chains, which currently operate under the SPAR and INTERSPAR brands in North Macedonia.

Today, Premium Bakery is present in the Macedonian market with almost its entire product range. The offering includes frozen dough products, partially baked bread, and other ready-to-bake products designed to meet the needs of modern consumers and the professional food service sector. The packaged bread category is expected to be added to the existing assortment very soon, further strengthening the brand’s presence in the market.

In addition to its partnerships with modern retail chains, Premium Bakery has established a strong presence through collaborations with supermarkets and local stores across the entire territory of North Macedonia. This extensive distribution network ensures broad market coverage and closer proximity to consumers.

Premium Bakery’s development strategy in North Macedonia is based on a diversified sales channel model:

Retail – supermarket chains and modern retail outlets;
HoReCa – hotels, restaurants, cafés, and food service operators;
B2B – partnerships with distributors, processors, and industrial partners;
B2S (Bake to Sell) – a channel with significant growth potential, expected to expand further in the coming period.

Thanks to its favorable logistics position, geographical proximity, and the growing demand for high-quality bakery products, Premium Bakery continues to strengthen its presence in North Macedonia.
